Join Plimoth Cinema for a special free screening of the PBS film Bring Her Home to commemorate Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s Month (MMIW). By focusing on the work of Indigenous women activists whose traditional homelands are in what is now more commonly known as the state of Minnesota, the film provides an introduction to and useful case study for the MMIW crisis. Friday, May 30, 2025 at 7 pm to 9 pm at the Plimoth Patuxet Museum.

Following the film, Vickie Wakanabo, Mashpee Wampanoag elder, and Rachel Winters, citizen of the Cherokee Nation (ᏣᎳᎩᎯ ᎠᏰᎵ) and current PhD student at UMASS Boston, will lead a discussion about the impact of missing and murdered Indigenous women in their communities.
