COMMITTEE STATUS AND STRUCTURE
People ask “What is the Plymouth No Place For Hate Committee?” The simple answer is
“We celebrate our differences and react to incidents that may threaten or isolate individuals or groups based solely on visible or invisible differences.”
The Plymouth NPFH Committee is a Town Committee appointed by the Select Board. There are 13 seats on the committee (11 adult seats with rotating 3 year terms and 2 seats for Plymouth high school students). Meetings are always open to the public and are held the 4th Wednesday of each month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Plymouth Town Hall. They are currently hybrid meetings (both in person and via Zoom). Please email NPFHChair@gmail.com for the Zoom link.
Committee Membership is available to anyone who lives in the Town of Plymouth. We request that a prospective member attend at least one meeting before applying to join.
Associate Membership is available to anyone that would like to volunteer to help without joining the committee.
For more information contact the committee chair at NPFHChair@gmail.com.

REMEMBRANCE
The Committee wishes to acknowledge the service of members Barry Meltzer, who was the committee chairperson from its inception in 2000 until 2013, and Joe Horn, both of whom passed away in 2015. The spirit of these two men will live on in all those whose lives they touched and by all people who are committed to social justice.
