No Place For Hate Outstanding Citizenship Award

The Plymouth NPFH Committee is pleased to announce that it will again be conducting this program in 2024. We again seek to recognize high school student(s) who live in Plymouth who, in the opinion of the Committee, meet the following criteria:

AWARD ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The recipient of this Award will be a student who has shown a commitment to social justice by challenging discrimination or bigotry through his/her actions, and/or who actively works to celebrate diversity or to protect the civil rights of all people in our community. This could take the form of a specific act (such as opposing a racist/homophobic/discriminatory action), a creative expression (a published essay or article, a poster) or something else which the Committee feels is worthy of recognition.

Additional Criteria: Recipient(s) MUST BE RESIDENTS OF PLYMOUTH regardless of where they attend High School (including schools outside of Plymouth). They do NOT have to be seniors, and do NOT have to be college-bound.

A potential Award recipient can be nominated by a teacher, Guidance Dept. staff, club or organization Advisor, clergy, coach, or other non-relative. Please use the Nomination Form (Click here) and attach any supporting items such as news clippings. DEADLINE for the 2024 Award is April 30, 2024.
